A Kitten

Thursday afternoon. At work.

My coworker found this kitten inside company building.

She was hissing at first. I offered water and turkey
from cafeteria. Tried slow-blinking to tell her I'm
not threat. After a while, she seemed to calm down.

Oh, I want to take her home!

But not sure if home management committee
(i.e. Goro & Niko) will approve...

Some of us began asking around to find home for her.

And we did! One of our
coworkers decided to take her home :-)

Come to think of it, this was how we gotcha'ed Goro.
My coworker found him in the company parking lot.

Before going home, I cleaned myself carefully
to cover up the fact that I was with other kitty.

I couldn't have much work done, Goro.

A small gift for a kitten...

N...nothing, nothing.

Have a happy life, baby girl!

  3. Hooray for the coworker who decided to adopt that sweet little kitty! Gosh wouldn't Goro and Niko have been surprised if you brought home a new furry kitten. Haha! I wish the little sweetie as much love and happiness as your kitties have enjoyed.

What an incredible story and even more so about Goro. What a cruel people that put out little, innocent and defenseless kittens at a parking lot!

  46. My goodness there seem to be kittens on a lot of our pals bloggies.
Dad is still unsure of our Einstein. Now that he is better and not on deaths door he is, um, a whirlwind of kitten energy. Even Rumpy cannot keep up and that is saying something
    give Mom some purrs kitties

  48. Awww, this reminded dad of Grayson. So glad when someone is willing to take one of us home and care for us. Much as me and dad have our spats I'll always appreciate that he did just this for me all those hundreds of years ago...
