Gift Giving

Hello, everyone.
This is Niko.

As you may know, my brother Goro
--- he is a big Daddy's boy.

One day, Goro went hunting and
caught an ice cream cone.

He brought it to his Dad.

Mom said,
"It's Goro's gift for his Dad!"

Since then, he's taken frequent hunting trips.
Always came back with his catch.

And they are all given to his Dad.

Mom says, "He is such a sweet boy!"

(Though, I could sense
a little jealousy in her tone.)

Well, Mom. They may look sweet, but
I know they are not just an innocent gift.

If I would try to steal Dad's attention?

Goro will command them, and
those ice cream cones will ATTACK me.

Yes, they are Goro's army to keep
me away from Dad!

If they refuse to obey Goro,
you see what happens...

One night, Mom stepped on a
drowned body, which made her jump.

I heard her grumbling "Goro showers his
Dad with gifts and I get a heart attack."

Poor Mom! To cheer her up,
I decided to get a little gift for her.

Mom said,

"This is the best cake I've ever had♥"

Mom's note: Goro brings various toys (mainly
ice cream cones) to his Dad, which is mighty
adorable. Niko always brings me this birthday
cake slice toy, which is mighty adorable, too :-)

Goro você é muito gentil trazendo cones de sorvete para o teu pai. Um dia a Violeta me trouxe uma lagartixa de presente e assim como a mãe de vocês eu quase tive um ataque cardíaco. Hihi

  7. Dearest Tamago,
Oh, you had me laugh out loud about you stepping on a drowned body!
Yes, they do bring us gifts, it is very funny what you find and what they try to take to bed with them.
There is no doubt, our kids do have a soul and lots of feelings; almost human-like!
We love them dearly and you got two sweet darlings in Goro and Niko.
Enjoy them and sending you hugs,
    Mariette

  15. Goro!! We can't believe you're doing this for free! We only do things when we get treats. But then again, we girlcats aren't so easy to fool...

P.S. Mom sqeaked in delight. She'd probably faint if we brought her a cake, or ice cream, or anything at all. So it's good that we don't because we need her thumbs to open our cans!

  24. you are so lucky! I would love any of my three to bring me a gift but nada! Occasionally Frodo likes to roll in the litter box and then he gets a piece of poo stuck to his head (true story) and then he presents his head to be petted--does that count?

  25. Niko san, Goro san, my mommy loves the both of you so much. And we are alike in bringing presents to our parents. But mom only has me. I bring a lot of them to make up for just one kitty to run the house. Goro san, you sure love your daddy. I know you love your mommy too. Niko san, you absolutely love your Mommy and Daddy both. Cake is sweet, just like you. It is good to remind your mommy how sweet you are. XXX
