I've been growing this catmint for Goro & Niko.
Sadly, they are not interested in it.
Goro is such a Daddy's boy :-)
We celebrated Goro's 5th birthday on May 30.
His Dad got sashimi. I used catmint as garnish.
My understanding is that raw fish shouldn't be a regular
diet but is okay as occasional treat. Kids are already on
raw diet (with exception of cooked chicken for snack.)

ReplyDeletePerhaps your mom is growing the wrong stuff. There is catNIP and catMINT, two different species, and we felines like the NIP variety. All is not lost though...the MINT is great in tea!
Dearest Goro happy birthday. We love sashimi too. Remember cats ate raw fish it for thousands of years before canned cat food :-)

ReplyDeleteWow. You did a great job with the catmint! It's a pity the boys aren't interested in it. I planted two pots of catnip and was very sad that none of my cats was interested. But I kept giving it to them and now they actually like it. :) So keep offering the catmint to them. They might like it one day.
