Away from Home

I was preparing for my little trip.

Yes, Goro, but just for a short period.
Will you be okay without me?

I.....hope you will keep a regular bowel movement.
You and Niko, both.

What do you mean?

Oh, no! Don't say that!

I... I always think about
Niko's and your happiness, Goro.

Now, would you give me my passport?

I did not ask you to pass me a pork, Goro.
My passport is under your tummy.

Are you trying to keep me from going away?

*

Later I found Goro packed himself in my suitcase.

Unfortunately, I could not take him or Niko with me.
(I wish I could.)

But when I came back,
Goro was happy and Niko had all his hair.

I don't think I'll go on a trip for a while.
It was very hard to be away from my kids.

  1. I understand how you feel. I am at the other end of this being the cat-sitter who cares for the cats while the owners travel. I love the opportunity to get to know other people's cats and give them good care while they wait for their owner to return. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5

  2. Goro would make an excellent magician. Skilled at making passports disappear...he can also transport himself to other places, magically! (still a few bugs in that, but I'm sure he'll perfect it!)

Must be so hard to go on long trips. You must miss them terribly. :( But so wonderful to come home to their loving! :)

  6. Goro and Niko seem very adamant about you not going away on trips without them! I'm glad everyone was 'regular' and had all their hair when you got home safe and sound! :)

  11. Mol! Nice try at keeping your mom home, boys! We'll have to try hiding our mom's pass pork next time she tries to leave - which thankfully for us (and especially her, she says) isn't often! Purrs,

  17. Hey, Goro! Good job! It is the duty of kitties to make their Moms and Dads feel very guilty about leaving them. We can't have our Humans running willy-Nilly all over the darn planet while we are abandoned at home to fend for ourselves. It's a wonder we don't die of loneliness or starvation.

  20. I hate it when MY mommy leaves and I go straight to under the bed and ignore the pet sitter and won't hardly eat until she comes home. I have her, mommy, by the hair on the back of her head. I keep her on a short leash. ♥♥

  21. Why didn't you shred that passport - do it next time and that will stop all this neglect due to travelling.
