Winter is Coming

In the morning, I wake up with Goro's pawing
(and occasional prick by his claw) and Niko's purring.

As it's getting colder, I have hard time leaving my
warm, comfy bed. Can I borrow Goro & Niko's fur?

I can't believe it's already November!

Birds around here are getting fat and round
like a ball. Maybe they are preparing for winter.

They certainly look appetizing to Goro.

Daylight saving time ended this weekend.
It won't take long for winter to arrive.

I'm adjusting clock, Goro.

It might take longer to adjust
Goro & Niko's tummy clock.

  1. I'd munch those furry meatball tummies any day of the week!

I got some dirty, killing looks this morning at breakfast time, it's a wonder I'm still alive.

  2. Mmmmmm...we wanna see those bird meatballs again. Yummy!!

  3. he he - so cute and so right. M says my clock is out of whack also.,

  4. Dearest Tamago,
Indeed, their tummy-clock is a very precise one!
    Hugs to you,

  5. Our dinner was way late tonight! But then, that is nothing new. Sometimes it is late because my human spaces out.

  6. Dearest Tamago-san,
Oh, time flies and getting colder and colder here. Both of them must have big appetites around this season♡♡♡
You must have needed some time to get used to the Daylight saving time when you first experienced it. I have no idea but it must bother you when started.

Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

  7. MOL! Mommy's so glad there's no need to adjust any clocks around here. :p
Time sure flies right by. We can't believe it's November and Christmas is almost here.

  8. Yes, we moved our clocks back an hour too. Sadly for our human, it means being awake around 2 and 3AM, instead of 3 or 4AM. LOL.

  9. Bird meatballs!!!!!

I was mad that I got my breakfast one hour later on Sunday but my Mommeh was glad to sleep in a bit.

  10. That time change stuff is just a wee bit confusing!

  11. You two mancats are among the funniest in the CB. Mom is laughing a lot beacause I just did that to mommy too on Sumday and today!

Bird meatballs! Purrfect meal and you two have beautiful round shapes!! Just right for mommy kissies!

  12. love all the meatballs :)
We don't feed The Crew on an exact schedule so they adjust to the time change pretty easily..

  13. Awww sweet Goro and lovely Niko!!! Daylight saving time means and extra hour of early treats for you two! Yay! LOL!

We think the bird meatballs are just adorable!!

    Happy November! Take care

  14. We are so glad to have power and be able to read your great stories again! Love the alarm clock shot, its so true, our late Dr. Z would wake up for breakfast every morning at 430

    urban hounds

  15. mol! Smidgen is like Goro :) Yesterday was our mom's favorite day of the year. we don't appreciate it either that everything (meaning breakfast and dinner) is going to be late now! :D

    Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie

  16. Nin is like that too, he was calling too early this morning! Keep warm! Lee and Phod

  17. Goro, we LUFF that picture of you straining toward those meatballs, er, "birds."

You boys really got that lady under your paw, don't you? Good work, Men. Carry on!

  18. Hahaha~
    Totally understand,
but our clock also slower these days,
    because it's colder~~~
At summer, the morning call clock is 4am, now is 5am, and it will be 6am at winter.

  19. Ha! Bird meatballs. I bet that would be nommers :) Maybe we could substitute chicken for cardinals eh? Mom would like that ;)
Yap, winter is the best snuggle season! :D Wonderin why your Mom needs an alarm clock when she has you too. BOL!

    Waggin at ya,

  20. Haha! Hopefully kitties get onto the new time soon! I'm glad that we don't change our clocks here in Saskatchewan. No goofing up our sleeping times!

We have very fat birds too. Banjo has been eyeing them up! ;)

    xo Catherine

  21. Yup, we got our Person up at 4:00 this morning. After all it was time to eat and eat now. She kept telling us it wasn't time to get up but we wore her down.
The time change is no fun. Hope all of you have a great day.

  22. We understand completely, Goro and Niko! We have been waking up our Mommy and Daddy an hour earlier, too. :)

    Sammy and Moosey

  23. We have the same problem here!

    Nubbin wiggles,

  24. Bird meatballs...MOL! We'll all on CatTime over here so no worries! Purrs...

  25. Uh, I don't thinks that the kitty tummy clock observes daylight savings time...Love the Goro ball and the Niko ball! Have a wonderful week boys!

  26. Hi Tamago,
I had so much fun reading the news of your cute boys. I remember that purr purr and prick prick of my former cats. Wiski wants most nights to be outside. So there is no chance of that funny game.
    Best greetings, Johanna

  27. The cats love when I put our winter blankets on the bed...there is hardly room for us!!!!

  28. Tamago san,
    Do you thinking already November?
It time will be getting colder coming
Goro & Nico san doesn't like cold the snuggle season..
The time coming soon at winter time.

Goro and Niko are so so cute !
    Thanks for your nice comment,
    have a wonderful Sunday,

  30. purring and pricking neva seem to work for me. try licking eye brows. altho sometimes, that just gets me locked out of teh room, but sometimes it works!

  31. I seldom sleep with Mom anymore. I still wake her for breakfast by whopping the blinds. Mom doesn't adjust to the time change.
