Kit was a kitten whose precious life
we could not save. August 20th marked
one year since his passing.
It was also the day we decided to adopt him.
Kit was very weak. He didn't meow even
once. But I remember his purring. It was very
brief but so sweet. I embrace that moment, and
appreciate every minute we spent together.

So very sad that some kittens never even had a chance at life. But you LOVED him and that's all he knew. It is so precious to love the ones that come on our way.

Awwww....my eyes are filled with tears. :( I have had cats all my life (I will be 60 in October) and know what it feels like to lose one. It hurts...a lot. It is great that you are cherishing the memories and time that you had with your beloved and beautiful cat.

ReplyDeleteThis brought a tear to my eye. A few years ago I found a barely alive pitbull puppy on the curb in front of my house. I carried her yo the vet but she had severe parvo and was on the brink of death and we had to put her to sleep. Heart breaking. I think of her often

Dearest Tamago-san; Oh my, so sorry for my late comment. I clearly remember your kit and know how you cared him with lots of LOVE. Like other your friends said, I am sure he felt your deep affection and thankful to you both. His little sweet soul must be in heaven now.

前のブログを書く前は、伯母の登記関係・直後に主人の叔父が亡くなり、相続の手伝いetc... haha,私の年代の忙しさです。
最後の方の Olympicは 見逃したぁ～ p:-) 4年後主人は70ですが、2人で元気でいたいです(♡^.^♡)
