Pretzel Time

One afternoon...

Hi, Goro.
Enjoying pretzel time?

* I call Goro "Pretzel" when he is relaxing
with his body twisted (his favorite posture)

Uh-huh, uh-huh.

I felt really bad to have taken him to the Vet.

Goro had his semi-annual check-up.

He got burritoed (Goro is on Vet's naughty list)
but he was rather good boy this time.

Also, he checked out with good results. Yay!

Back at home

We wish everyone a fun week!

  1. I love Goro's pretzel pose! Glad he got a good report. We just finished taking our 6 pets to the vet; it is good to be finished for the year! Does Goro cry in the car on the way to the vet??

  2. Well of course he has to pretzel after being trapped in that towel. So glad he got a good checkup. Wish I could move around like he does. LOVE LOVE LOVE your captions for the kitties, your blog really makes me smile and feel good. We have to take both of ours to the vet tomorrow! I think I will bring the camera.

  5. Dearest Tamago,
Happy that Goro is okay and will be good to go for quite a while. Oh, they all HATE being transported inside that pet-carrier as they know too well what follows!
Love his pretzel position, indeed he is very relaxed that way.
Love the last photo where he sits tall on the shelf and Niko squatted down.
We drove back home yesterday from a night in Atlanta after attending the wedding reception + dinner for the same couple we went to France for the wedding. All those that could not fly to France and also some that did manage to go, were invited. It was lovely on Saturday and than I drove to the Hyatt Place in Duluth. None other Hyatts had a room available due to the evacuees from hurricane Andrew.
We did go to Costco, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and when I drove home I got stuck in terrible traffic jam, south of Atlanta. It took me 3 hours and 15 minutes instead of 2 hours... Also so many Georgia Power trucks in both directions and lots of Red Cross vehicles as well. Scary when you realize how many people got affected and what about all their pets? Were they able to travel with their kitties too? Sending prayers to all that suffered damage and losses and may they safely return home.
    Sending you hugs,
    Mariette

  30. Niko san, you are lucky that you did not get taken to the vet at the same time. You two must not exchange happy paws when just one goes to the vet! GOOD boys! Goro san, I can help you with pretzel. Shall I come over soon? 💗

  34. Dearest Tamago-san; I REALLY had fun seeing Goro-chan's pretzel time♡♡♡ I didn't know what "pretzel・プレッツェル" is p:-) He sure is a lovely pretzel boy and happy that he got a good result for his semi-annual check-up(^_^)v Although I didn't have to check burrito, PC's picture page taught me what pretzel is and what it is like. I thought it looks like "カリントウ”which is our favorite snack♪
The contrast of his cute burritoed face and his handsome face (or cool face) in the last greeting picture gave me warm smile(♡^.^♡)
I REALLY appreciate your sweet comments(♡^.^♡)

  40. Tamago, Camilo's "parents" were here, a few moments ago. His name is little sponge (Esponjinha)...I think. Thanks that he found his home, they live in the same condo and I can visit him...I'm so relieved...
