Last year, we had this tower.
Only place where Christmas tree could
sit safely from Goro.
Only place where Christmas tree could
sit safely from Goro.
Based on experience, dear.
This year, though, tower was replaced by
a cabinet - with full access to the top.
Now the question:
Where do we put the tree?
We came up with this solution.
Great solution. Too bad Goro, they found a solution. Hope all of you had a good Christmas.

FELIZ NATAL!!!
FELIZ ANO NOVO!!!
Goro sure looks to be guarding the tree all statue like there. Or trying to use his mind power to knock it over. Cassie knocked Mom's big one over once, with the help of her dog, we blame the dog more.
ReplyDeleteVery cute pictures!!! Wishing you all a happy new year with lots of love.
ReplyDeleteFoi uma ótima solução para manter a árvore de natal segura, certo Goro?
ReplyDeleteCafunés para vocês, meus amores!!
MOUSES! How unfair is that ?! Well, that's a mom for you.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! our mom has taken to drawing a tree with her crayons since the boycats came :)
ReplyDeletepip, smidgen, minnie, hollie, sharpie, ditto
That is a very good solution (for humans, but not so much for Goro chan). :)
ReplyDeleteWe hope your Christmas was as wonderful as you are, dear friends!
Hugs!
That is quite the hiding spot for the tree! Merry Christmas gang!
ReplyDeleteI love your lighted tower the best.
ReplyDeletePoor poor naughty Goro did Santa Gud Dug bring you and Nico anything in your stocking ?
The katties here received lots of gifts that they do not play with but thehamish does !
cheers, parsnip and thehamish
I think you've found a good solution, Tamago, but not for Goro ! :-)
ReplyDeleteWishing you all a wonderful Christmas time !
Sylvia
You mean we're supposed to bother the Christmas tree? We've been doing it wrong!
ReplyDeleteYou know ALL the tricks!! Your little tree is beautiful! We did not have a tree! Our kitties even eat artificial branches!! My favorite is picture 6, Goro sitting up straight beside the fireplace!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a beautiful tree, it would be a pity if someone would accidentally knock it over. Not you boys, of course :)
ReplyDeleteHumans can really bum a cat out, can't they Goro? Hope you had a wonderful holiday, and I love the 'dual cat' photo!
ReplyDeleteNone of us bother the tree...much. Saku does like to play with some of the balls but mom bean made sure they are all shatterproof. So far none of us has tried to climb the tree....
ReplyDeleteYour tree is lovely and you boys look so handsome!

ReplyDeleteWell, that was a good solution even if Goro didn't think so. We love seeing you two up on your shelves. Maybe one day we can convince our humans to put up shelves for us.

ReplyDeleteJulie only bit our tiny tree once(that mum knows about)
We enjoyed extra mum time this Christmas and will enjoy more next weekend. WooHoo!

Dearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteOh my, love that 'oh bummer' face from Goro! Their expressions are always so much fun.
Smart solution.
We have no Christmas tree, already since we moved to Pennsylvania, we gave all our Christmas tree things away... incl. the tree and have never set one up again.
This year we drove to Jacksonville, FL to be at the Basilica of Immaculate Conception for a heavenly Mozart Mass, played by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and choir with organ. What a feast and only a 7 min. walk from our Hyatt Regency hotel which we stayed at for only $ 90. Guess because of Christmas... We stayed 2 nights as we wanted to go to Costco, Apple Store, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods Market and on Christmas Day, nothing is open so that was for the 26th, before heading home. Now I'm down with the flu... Like last year but luckily not as sick as last year.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
That's such a funny post!!! I really liked all your beautiful pictures. Great place for the tree!!!
ReplyDeleteDana
I love seeing your totally catified house. Goro looks like he's plotting his attack of the Christmas tree.

Oh, how Mom laughed about your post! She remembered last year's Christmas tree and thinks your family found a great solution for this year.
ReplyDeleteSadly, for some strange reasons, Granny doesn't have a Christmas tree anymore. She always had one, but not after we started coming for our Christmas holiday to her place. We don't understand. Is Mom eating so much that Granny can't afford a Christmas tree anymore??

The Christmas tree is safe at home, the dog is well behave with the tree. But poor Rusty got his paw cut few days ago, was bleeding again this morning. Need to take him to go back to see the vet again. Your tree look nice, my is a small one like yours, maybe add some lights like yours next year. Happy New Year Tamago!

ReplyDeletehahaha, paws up, Goro!
