On February 28th, we celebrated
Niko's 7th Gotcha Day.
Isn't he even cuter now?
Niko's 7th Gotcha Day.
He was a very sweet, gentle kitten.
He was also shy and reserved --- Kind of
a boy who sit back and watched others play.
Or like other kids didn't even
notice he was there.
Or always got picked on by bigger kids.
But not at the snack time.
Love of chicken made Niko bold & strong!
And that hasn't changed :-)
Niko is our sweet & gentle boy.
Shy but not so shy around chicken :-)

He is indeed, so beautiful!! So I am thinking you must have to feed them separately. This is what we have to do with ours, because Sim eats both helpings, and is now supposed to be on a diet. Your pictures are so cute, and really do tell the story of his personality! Happy Gottcha Day, pretty Niko!

Had to laugh about Niko as he for sure does not chicken out! He loves to eat them... Like all our kids and only when we prepare fish, they seem to like it even more. Barty had his 13th birthday on the 17th and his skin is improving from the steroid injection. He'd over groomed and caused a self inflicted wound on his tail. We had to put ointment on but I hate doing that as they do lick it all off... ??? The vet said that is okay, it needs only very little on the wound to penetrate and do its work but I'm so worried about ingesting it!
And Spooky got his injections at home and treatment against worms since he's an outdoor cat. Both of us have NEVER hears any of our kids purr so loudly when getting shots. But he did and all I could think about was that he was happy he stood on my sewing table in the laundry room, at home and that he recognized the vet from April 1, last year. She saved his life.
Kids are smart and they make their human parents happy when all is well.
Sending you hugs for a happy weekend. Yesterday I did perform with our choir at a big St. Patrick's Day luncheon for all our joint civic clubs. Also on Thursday I hung my 2nd Fleur de Lys curtain. All the crochet work done... this was only 50 hours; not 100...
