From Sylvia's blog Cosiness, I learned
photography trend called "Knolling".
"Knolling is the process of arranging
related objects in parallel or 90 degree angles
as a method of organization."
Inspired by Sylvia's gentle, sweet, and
delightful images, I tried Knolling myself!
*
Goro & Niko's dental care kit
Toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton swab,
dental gel, & manuka honey
*
Goro & Niko's brushes
Various brushes & fur balls
*
Goro & Niko's chicken snack
Plain chicken, chicken with egg yolk,
& chicken with freeze-dried giblets
As always, Goro helped me in the kitchen.
After 20 minutes in the oven...
Here is Niko enjoying snack :-)

One more Knolling!
Plush Goro, Goro, & Plush Niko :-)
Thank you, Sylvia, for the inspiration.
I had lots of fun Knolling!
I had lots of fun Knolling!
Our favourite picture is the last one!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Goro, you line up purrfectly !
ReplyDeletePaw up for you, dude ! Keep mom happy
=^x^=
Oh, great advice! This will be very handy for us. Mom will maybe improve her lousy pictures, well, and we cats have a new activity toy to keep her occupied. She arranges, we destroy, she arranges, we destroy, she ...
ReplyDeleteHehe!
What we DO NOT like about this post are these dental care things! We've something similar here and we HATE it. Please don't promote so useless and stupid things on your blog. BANISH them.
Love the last photos, lol. You kitties are so lucky to get freshly cooked treats. Sending purrs. Skipper
ReplyDeleteI'm more interested in tasting your yummy homemade treats than the knolling! Those look delish.
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun post and I love the taste test photo.
ReplyDelete"Plush Goro, Goro, & Plush Niko"...love this!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of that before. All nice and neatly set up indeed. Guess which one is real with the last ordeal haha
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing Goro! And these pictures are delightful! They somehow seem to order the mind, as well. My favorites today are #4 and #7!
ReplyDeleteKnolling sounds like a fun thing to do. Just have to get everything in it's place. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteKnolling seems very nice and neat, but I don't see my Mom doing it..
ReplyDeleteThe last picture is hilarious :D

ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen helper. The last photo is so cute.
cheers, parsnip and thehamish
I just went over to her blog very lovely and so beautiful. As I looked over it I realized that this is how I sent up many of my photos and designs. So I have been Knolling and didn't know it.
DeleteHow lucky she is to live somewhere where she can find all the lovely items.
Such an attentive kitchen helper. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThe knolling looks kinda neat.
ReplyDeleteWe like that last picture too :)
Bet those treats were good too !
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Maybe I can get Brother Simon to try that with his pile of toys!
ReplyDeleteKnolling must also mean being organized. :)
ReplyDeleteWe love all the knolling photographs and love how you added the fur balls with the cat brushes! Our favourite is the last one...really adorable! We also love those cat dishes!! Where did your Mama find those? We hope your summer is going well :)

ReplyDeletelove love that last photo!!! But what is honey for for dental kit?
ReplyDeleteHi Tamago,
ReplyDeleteyour photos are cute, especially the last one with the plush buddies. Hard to tell which is real and which is plush. They look all su cuddely.
Best greetings, Johanna
If I do "knolling" it would last 5 min and then the whole things would be upside down again, when I touch them, lol !
ReplyDeleteAnother fun post with great photos and captions ~ life with 'critters' is always busy ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous post, my friend! And that last photo brought a smile to my face :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are well and enjoying your summer. Hugs!
Oh, Tamago, what a lovely surprise ... glad
ReplyDeleteI could inspire you, love all your 'knolling' images !
How super cute the last one is ! :-)
Thanks for this great and fun post !
Enjoy your week,
Sylvia
Niko obviously approves!
ReplyDeleteNiko san...my love! You look just right at your dish of chicken. You have made both of us smile here. That does not mean we do not love Goro san as well, because we do! I love the plush boys. I wish mommy had one of ME. Maybe she would give me more peace when I am trying to work on world problems as I nap! xoxo Love you both.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I am impressed that you brush their teeth.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting and commenting on my schooner sepia photo ~ ^_^
ReplyDeleteGoro você ficou adorável entre os gatos de pelúcia.

ReplyDeleteHi Goro & Niko's both of brushes teeth yours had to very care with always. that is good idea of don't forgot OK!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are awesome! I've been so interested in photography as of late as well!
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and it looks like you use the same oval brushes that I use...
I've never done any teeth brushing, guess because we had eight and now six.
The plush versions of Niko and Goro look great as well.
Sending you hugs from a hot and humid Dublin. But we still manage to bike together.
We had a B & B guest for 4 nights, he left this morning. A business person from Germany and Lady Chef and friend Maria was overbooked so I helped her out with our Rose Suite. We will get a certificate for use in her Restaurant so that works well.
BUT, none of our fur babies loved this person, they hid every morning as he was about to leave through his own private entrance door, to his car and on to work. I usually share some avocado with three of them and they were afraid to come but I calmed them down and explained that he is gone now. Only Papi & Mami...
They DO understand us.
Hugs,
Mariette
Knolling... very interesting! We'll have to give it a try! All of your shots are good, but our favorite is of Goro with Plush Goro and Plush Niko!
