For the latest semi-annual physical exam,
we took Goro & Niko together.
First, Goro. As usual, he got burritoed.
(He is on Vet's "Naughty" list.)
I was given Nosorb but it didn't work.
Eventually, I managed
to catch a sample in the air!
As for Niko, Vet detected irregular heartbeat.
Later he was taken to cardiologist.
Fortunately, his heart is fine! Arrhythmia is
mild and infrequent, maybe caused by stress.
There have been minor health concerns here
and there, but I'm grateful that kids
are eating well and healthy in general.
We wish you all a happy new week!
(He is on Vet's "Naughty" list.)
Then Niko. His exam went smoothly.
(He is on a "Good Cat" list.)
Vet couldn't collect Goro's urine sample as
his bladder was empty. I was ordered
to get sample at home. Oh my gosh, how?

Great they had a good health report. Stress and a vet visit, who would have guessed they go together? lol When Orlin had to get a pee sample I just took him to the vet, he peed right on them and viola! haha
ReplyDeleteGoro, such a face! Does the mom go on the 'naughty' list for taking you two to the vet in the first place?!? Glad, however, that you too are in good shape...you are both so cute!
ReplyDeleteThat was a scare. I am so glad they are alright. Your captions are just the best! They always make me so happy, and give me a laugh. I see the vet tech was a bit flustered! They are very lucky and beautiful cats. Love their little couch!
ReplyDeleteWe are sure glad all is okay too and we are glad the visit is over!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you both checked out fine!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love your couch!
Oh so glad they are both well ~ Great photos and captions as always ~ thanks, ^_^

Dearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteOh my, their faces... those photos say it all!
Yes, it is always very stressful for our fur babies.
On the way home it is already better, we always notice.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
Wow, what a time everyone had. And catching in mid stream? You're good!!
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear that the boys are well!
ReplyDeleteYou can always see on kitties' faces how stressful these visits are.
Have a happy week!
I hope they got rewarded for having to put up with a visit to the vet!
ReplyDeleteSo basically, going to the vet doesn't make us feel good, so we shouldn't go!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Oh BOYS! I am so happy to hear all is well with you both. Niko san, that precious heart of yours will be well as always. There's lace and sparkles around your sweet heart! That's all there was to the little sound they heard! Just sweetness.
ReplyDeleteNiko san said I could lay on the couch with him. He did.
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness, the face of disgust ! Goro, I really don't blame you. Nico, you are so darling.
ReplyDeleteI love your captions. They are the best.
cheers, parsnip
We're glad Niko and Goro both checked out okay. And that the heart issue for Niko turned out to be nothing.
ReplyDeleteWe are delighted to hear that the dreaded Vet visit went well.
ReplyDeleteOur mum hardly ever gets pee samples at home :/
We are glad Niko got the OK from the heart vet :) Whew!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Yeah!! Good to know that everyone-- furred and otherwise-- survived the visit to the vet and is in good health! When we go Zulu just hides and goes limp hoping the vet will think he is already lifeless and so just ignore him. Amarula pees herself and then is actually quite friendly. Frodo of course wants to go about the vet clinic befriending everyone!
ReplyDeleteVery thankful that nothing serious wrong with the fur babies. They are both so precious. I know they are happy that the vet visits are over for a while.
ReplyDeleteI am glad all went well at the vet.
ReplyDeleteHAH! I'm on the very naughty list at my vet. Who wouldn't be stressed at the vet altho the vet may be more stressed than me. MOL!
ReplyDeleteWe are glad Goro and Niko did okay at the vet, and especially that Niko's arrhythmia is not so bad. We have been very fortunate to have cats who were all on the "good cat" list at the vet.
ReplyDeleteGlad both are oké....
ReplyDeleteSo glad you two made it through the vet visit all right. And hopefully the irregular heart was just from stress.Have a good rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteA mãe de vocês é muito criativa, coletar urina de gato não é uma tarefa fácil, eu sei disso muito bem.
ReplyDeleteFico contente que vocês estão com boa saúde, meus amores.

ReplyDeleteOh, the sweeties, you can tell from their faces they are really scared of going to the vet ... so glad they both are well !
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week, Tamago !
Sylvia
Uh Oh! Goro! We didn't know you were a Burrito Cat! We think you look adorable dressed up as a snack! ;p
ReplyDeleteWe are happy to hear you are well.Niko, the cats here have had those heart irregularities and we think vet visits have a lot to do with them!
the critters in the cottage xo
Hahaha...got burritoed . That's a good term. Wish my vet had learn to do that. He got bitten once.
ReplyDeleteThey look very healthy ! I only go to the vet when there is a trouble. As long as the cats have their fur shining and they eat well and get on my nerves, no vet needed.
ReplyDeleteI loved the "burritoed" expression. My cat is also on the vet's naughty list - he gets terrified every time he goes to the vet. I'm happy your kids are healthy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me on the beach ~ ruff! ruff!

Oh boys, a visit to the VET! Thankfully you are both well and don't have to go back for a while. I had to go for some stronger painkillers as a lady my age gets some aches and pains as the weather gets colder. Keep warm and safe. Purrs Skipper
