Kitchen Supervisor

Goro is our kitchen supervisor.

He helps cooking.

Makes sure dish gets washed.

Taste test!

If there is an empty box...

Goro decides "throw" or "keep"!

Sometimes, he can be a bit too
territorial around kitchen.

Boys! Chicken is ready!

After all, kitchen is a happy place.
Kids' meal and snack are prepared here
to make their tummy happy!

And I sure enjoy Goro's company :-)

  10. Dearest Tamago,
Such precious photos and yes, our babies are excellent at supervising!
Some great news about our Bandido, or Dido as we call him. When we came home on Monday late afternoon, I found that Dido's 'mammary gland tumor' had opened up - or got opened up by himself? The Vet said it would be better to remove it all before this would happen. So I panicked and called her for advice. She said, put a gauze on and than cover with a 'tube'... So I did look for something to put over him and cut off the lower part of the sleeve of Pieter's paint-stained silk knit sweater. Cut holes in the sides for his 'arms' and voilà. Did manage to secure the gauze by wrapping around his chest and over his shoulder, through the new armhole... He looked so cute wearing his mock turtleneck. In the morning we dropped him off at the vet's clinic and she called around 10:30 AM. I was so nervous as she would do bloodwork before doing surgery, knowing about his health beforehand. She said, he did NOT have a tumor but an abscess and we were so very happy! Because the tumor would mean 85-90% malignant. Picked our boy up by 4:00 PM and he has been wearing his sweater every day so he cannot tug on the stitches. They will come out on Tuesday and we're done. So grateful for our boy's good health and he is the sweetest baby one can imagine.
    Hugs to all of you,
    Mariette

  12. How I love reading of their day. Goro san, you are an excellent supervisor and I like the Supervisor Stool. That was purchased solely for you. You have enhanced the meal preparation and did the taste test...your talents know no equal. Niko san-- my precious, you were right to say "no" and to show you meant it! I am proud of you. Your chicken dinner looks as though your mom and dad worked hard to please you. Be sure to show your thanks with some headbonks and side rubs. Thanks for allowing me to visit you through the tunnel over a few weeks ago. I had the best of times! Your places to rest all over the home are so impressive. I loved climbing from one to the other. XXXOOOXXX

  23. Goro-chan, you are a wonderful kitchen supervisor. What would Mom do without you to make those important decisions and keep her company? We love that the kitchen is a happy place and that you and Niko-chan get to eat chicken together. :)

  25. Sorry boys, this is a message for your Mom. If you want to make the coasters like mine, get some coasters made for cross stitching so you can put whatever images inside and it's safe. Photos of the boys will look great ! Anesha :)
