Goro, we are thinking about getting a kitty.
You'd love to have a sibling, right?

Goro, good news!
We decided to adopt a kitty!
And finally...
Goro, we are going to the shelter
this weekend!
So on February 28, 2010,
we welcomed Niko home!
Goro was NOT happy.
But with time and efforts,
and lots of snacks...

We are so happy Niko became our family.
He is our precious baby
and Goro's sweet little brother :-)

ReplyDeleteOh my, already 9 years... Time goes scarily FAST!
Congratulations and it is amazing how close they have become. The grooming part is special. We only had Spooky doing that to Barty when we brought him home. He acted like a cat-mom to him and loved him to pieces. Too bad that he died of heart-worm at age 3.5... Barty will turn 15 on March 17. And the four remaining siblings turn 12 on March 30. Bandido did groom his sister Sacha, the one that got killed by a car; no wounds but guess internal. SAD day for all and they did grief! Barty grieved for a long time about Spooky. Since then, we never have seen one another grooming.
You are lucky with your two boys and may they stay healthy and together for a long time to come.

How sweet ! Rosie is the youngest one with 11 years ! My goodness what time flies by ! And Arthur is already 17 ! He adopted Rosie immediately and behaved as if he was her Daddy. The females ignored and hissed at her they were jaleous. That never changed. And now Rosie is a little bitch and chases Arthur around ! The poor old man !
