Open Top, Open Side

Goro & Niko love playing food game.

They gather around puzzle box when
it's about time for the game.

Especially Niko, who is usually reserved,
gets very energetic.

Niko = Food game master

He wants to play game with you, Katie san!

Fishing out of glass? Piece of cake!

Any shape of glass.

Goro often gets left behind...

Sorry for Goro, but
I find his sour face very cute :-)

Don't worry. I make sure Goro
gets snack, too.

***

One day...

Instead of standing the glass as usual, I lied it
down. No particular reason, just for a change.

To my surprise...

Niko, go from the side.

Then came Goro!

It was interesting to learn their
strong and weak sides.

And sorry for Niko, but
I found his sour face very cute :-)

Don't worry. I make sure Niko
gets snack, too!

Food game is played under supervision and
kids always get the same amount of snack :-)

  1. How interesting that Niko and Goro have different ways of playing the food game. Though we never want to play games with our food...we hope the mom doesn't get any ideas. :)

  2. If you two worked TOGETHER it would *almost* be as good as growing thumbs! Around here John and Grayce are the food-game pros.

  3. I need to find the kitty game box for daughter's partners "spawn from hell" kitty. Her kitty is nuts !

I love the way they play the games.
You are such a good Mum !
    yum yum yum !

But thehamish would find the treat eat it and find the other treat before you could count to one. Especially if it is chkikin'.

    cheers, parsnip

  4. Dearest Tamago,
Oh, my how they know when it's about time for the food game! They sure can come to their human Parents and remind us! This is hilarious and what a trick for putting the glass on its side.
Loved the sour face from Niko too; so seriously sour.
    Sending you hugs,
    Mariette

  5. We are glad that both Goro and Niko like the food game and what a master of the game Niko is, how cool! Have a wonderful week!

  6. We can't play fun food games like that here because Binga hogs them all and will literally try to take apart anything that comes between her and treats! And then there's Boodie, who is not bright enough to retrieve treats from even the simplest of contraptions. I would probably play nicely, but I'm stuck between these two.

  7. Since Chucky cannot have any kibble, I haven't played food games with them, but maybe I can find something else as a treat to use. I'll look at the pet food store soon!

  8. That game is very creative. Sad to say, but I don't think Derry would figure it out at all, no matter what the kibble was in. LOL. But Nicki probably would get it. :-)

  10. What great games! MOL turning the glass on it's side sure threw them for a loop. That's funny. Caster likes to fish my ice out of my drink classes. He thinks it is the funnest game ever! But it usually ends in a spilled drink. MOL!
And, for the record, we think those sour faces are pretty cute too!!!

  11. We play that game here too with our big puzzle box and, yes, one kitty, Rumpy, hogs the treats. We are going to try the other.
Very interesting about the square glass and Niko Go Goro Go MOL

Great to find that Goro-chan also has talent as well for food game♪ Their sweet sour face gave me LOVELY after dinner smile♡♡♡ And knowing both of your boys have the same amount of snack kind of relieved me(*^_^*)

ps. So sorry for my belated comment, Tamago-san.
