Mom: "Niko! We are home!"
Actually Goro, Dad, and I were at the Vet.
Earlier this week, I came back home and found right
side of Goro's face was swollen. There was a dead bee
on a floor, so I guess he was playing with it and got
stung. (We don't know how the bee got in the house.)
Wow, that is scary! We are glad you are okay now, Goro!
ReplyDeleteBad bee! Bad bee! Poor Goro... purrrrrr *giggles*
ReplyDeleteWow, Goro's face was really swollen a lot! We're glad he's okay now. Niko, you have a very vivid imagination.
ReplyDeleteOh poor Goro!! That happened to me once...I tried to swat a bee and he got me back on my paw and it swelled up some. I've learned to leave the bees alone!! I hope the swelling goes down soon. And don't listen to Niko...he was just having some fun while you were gone.

Whoa! I had no idea bees could do that. Maybe next time one comes in, I should let my human play with it instead.
ReplyDeleteAw, poor Goro. My Human took a bee that I had cornered away from me. I was mad, but maybe it was a good thing.
ReplyDeleteNiko, Sorry Dood. That's too bad that you didn't get the new improved model. But maybe you can re-train Goro?
Poor Goro... glad he's ok now! Like coming here reading your cat story... give me a smile to start my day! Mei
ReplyDeleteHow bees could bitten Goro's face?
ReplyDeletehis got a lots of fur in his face though it must be huge bees?
Niko san got fantastic imagination that I can seen in here a couple hundred years ago pictures of Japan LOL!
Keep it up your beautiful smiles for a long time Nikonikosan:-)
Big Hugs to both,
michiko
Whew!!! Poor Goro, I wonder how it happened. But he was LUCKY that mom and dad noticed soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, God yes, it sure was swollen.
Happy to know you probably got back your smiling face by now☆☆☆ Be a good boy, my dear!!!
Hugs xoxo, Orchid
Wow, Goro...! Stay away from bees now, okay? We've heard of a couple of other kitties having really bad reactions to bee stings too.
ReplyDeleteNiko, you'll have to make do with your current brother. And we hope for a very long time to come!
Very scary indeed...we are so glad to hear that Goro is okay now!!! Niko you have a very fertile imagination, you always make me smile little man :-)
ReplyDeleteha ha ha! Niko, your dreams are fantastic. Especially the one of getting a new Goro!
ReplyDeleteGoro, you look like you're chewing a wad of tobacco, next time leave that bee alone.
Very cute cats you have there... and I love the pics...
ReplyDeleteOh Goro, ouch! I have gotten stung, too. I was trying to pounce on some bees, and well, I did. They stung my stomach. :(
ReplyDeleteBUT the photos were halarious! MOL! MOL!
Meows,
-Luna Kitty
Oh Niko, the thoughts in your head were hilarious! Too bad you did not get the new, improved version of Goro. But I am very happy that Goro is feeling better now.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure glad you are okay Goro, and the bee was dead, that says a lot!
ReplyDeletethis was so darned cute and funny (except for the bee sting) we are so glad that Goro is ok..that had to be super scary!
ReplyDeleteI loved Niko's stream of thought! Hopefully he and Goro will have a truce! Poor Niko but poor GORO having to go through that awful painful experience.
ReplyDeleteMama of the kids..you are FUNNY!!!
xoxo
I'm so glad Goro was not replaced!! Well I laughed all the way through Niko's story right until the end until I saw poor sweet Goro's face! Poor kitty! What a naughty bee for getting into Goro's mouth... Hope he feels better. Kisses!

Glad your okay!
ReplyDeleteOh my, thank goodness Goro is now okay and that the swelling went down. Purrs to him from us. And even though Niko is tremendously funny and we enjoyed his telling of the story, we're glad there is no new Goro! Happy World Cat Day to Clooney's Evil Twins (well they aren't very evil, they're pretty sweet...)
ReplyDeleteOh Goro, we are so glad you are all right. Your cute face was all swollen up. Better not mess with those bees any more. Have yourselves on heck of a day.
ReplyDeleteOh thank goodness, Goro's doing fine now. And Niko, Goro's NOT defective and does not need to be replaced. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh Niko, you can dream, but I'm glad Goro is back home and doing OK.
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
I came back again to make sure Goro san is completely al better, and I laughed again. This was so funny (not poor Goro san's terrible sting) it was his mama that is so funny with te pictures and the captions. That one in the restaurant with what Niko san was thinking and the one returning the "defective" Goro san had me laughing out loud.
ReplyDeletexoxoxox I shook the Admiral off my lap with laughing. (I did)
Dearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteOh, I've seen such a bee sting on ours; it is a pitiful sight. Guess that's the only way they will learn. But still when we're outside and they're swatting after a bee or wasp I tell them: NO - they bite you. Hope they understand as I want to prevent such misery on their relatively tiny bodies. You had such a great story with perfect images again; LOVE this!
Enjoy your Sunday and all the best for your two cat-babies.
Love to you,
Mariette
Hi! This is my first visit to see you. What a great and funny blog post. I'll be coming back. I'm actually getting a new sisfur today that I can boss around and mold into my image. Glad Goro is over his bee sting.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, bee got to you, Goro, hon! Julie has to be careful of those..! But, I'm glad you're all better and Niko had nothing to worry about, but I'm glad he pictured Goro in all those places 'cause it was really cute to see!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Tom

Glad Goro has recovered! Very scary.
ReplyDeleteCute post!
Whoa, that's an impressive bump, Goro! One time when my mom was a kid, her cat went outside and got stung by a wasp on his paw! His paw was HUGE! It looked like he had a boxing glove on. We think the cheek bump is way cooler.
