This is a post about Goro & Niko's Dad
Last weekend, we went to one of the chain
restaurants in the neighborhood for dinner.
When he meets good food, service, or any experience,
he doesn't hesitate to express appreciation.
He told me, waitress, and manager how much
he loved the food. I love when he does that because
it always brings smile to everyone :-)
The restaurant gave us "free appetizer" coupon. Of course
we didn't expect this and appreciate their kind gesture.

So Niko, did the waitress taste good?
ReplyDeleteOh my, I am still giggling at the one, bravo! Okay, let's eat!
ReplyDeleteWe BURST out laughing when Niko went for the waitress with the fork! You guys are too funny...and we hope your Mom didn't do that for real! Your posts never fail to tickle our funnybones.
ReplyDeleteThat's so great that your dad takes the opportunity to give compliments when he likes something! Niko and Goro, we enjoyed your re-enactment of your parents' trip to the restaurant. Did your mom really try to eat the waitress? MOL!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Niko! Leave the waitress alone!!! Haha!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh so cute, we love it!!!
ReplyDeleteSo funny and I like the restaurant name...lol
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,

That's awesome! I've called our transit office to give compliments about drivers, or given compliments to store managers on certain staff. I don't do it enough, though!

ReplyDeleteI love the thought behind this post. Praising service workers is near and dear to my heart (being one myself) but the execution had me laughing.. the pictures are priceless!
ReplyDeletemol! we do have to wonder if Niko was embellishing his portrayal...
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, HOllie
And Niko, did you get a catty bag from the staff?
ReplyDeleteNiko!! You are not supposed to eat the waitstaff!! Oh wait--the waiter is a chick-hen. Stab! Stab! Stab!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there's a tip large enough to make up for killing your waiter. I don't think your Pawrents should efur go back dere.
That was so funny we have been back twice to read it and make sure we didn't miss any of your funny bits.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Honestly ~ I am laughing and giggling! You crack me up!
ReplyDeleteIt really is nice to let people know how good they are doing things especially when in the service industry they hear complaints more than compliments. It makes everyone's day nicer.
And how lovely that you got a free appetizer coupon!!
I hope the waitress got away... ;)

Hi Tamago,
ReplyDeleteyour humor is gorgeous. This post made my day. Its so funny. Your cats are so special. I looked at the former posts because I hadn't time last days. Love how they play with the paper bags. The way they look out of the cutted windows. What a pleasure to see their fun. Thank you so much for sharing such cute posts.
Hugs for you and scratches for the actors,
Johanna
