Outdoor Toy

It happened while back...when Goro and I
were hanging out on the deck.

*It was before installing new enclosure,
so Goro is wearing harness for safety.

Oh, it's almost dinner time.
Let's go inside.

(Drama queen Goro always acts like this
when wearing harness.)

You can move, Goro. Come on.

Suddenly,
Goro made a very quick movement.

So fast that he looked like just a gray blur.

Then I heard him growling.

???

And I saw....

(I didn't have time to care about taking picture.)

It was a HUGE lizard's tail! Hanging out
of Goro's beautiful mouth. And moving!

Heeelp!

***

Sorry Goro...I was afraid the toy could give you
disease or something. (Or am I overprotective?)

Goro got his teeth brushed to freshen lizard breath

Life with Goro is full of excitement :-)

  1. Aw man, Goro, what a bummer! Binga and I had a lizard tail taken away from us once (actually the tail was taken from Binga - I ran off with the lizard until my human caught me and put it outside). I bet it was fun and tasty while you had it.

  2. Eeeewww....I am thinking 'no kisses for Goro'! But, I guess if his teeth got brushed and his breath freshened then it should be OK to give him kisses again. LOL!

  4. Dearest Tamago,
What a lovely photos from this great adventure. They can act so swift and than the poor lizard got caught. Good for you to take it away; guess they often have to throw up form eating (part of) lizards...

  8. eeek our mom would have screamed too. Once she saw a mouses tail hanging out of Baby cats mouth and nearly fainted but mom could NOT go in there to get the mouse, if it was a lizard she would have. She just screamed and Baby spit it out and dad cleaned up the remains

  10. Our human would have let you eat it, because she'd have been too grossed out to touch that tail. LOL.

  37. Well I have no idea about lizards as we are insiders, but, I would have wanted to savor the flavor a bit.
