I have a chronic back pain.
*Don't worry, it's not too severe :-)

Yes, Goro.
(Hm. Actually, that's a good twist posture)
Recently, I found this acupressure mat
online. Thought I'd give it a try.
Those prickles are supposed to
work on pressure points on the back.
No biting, Goro. No biting.
Since I don't want kids to get on prickles (and
Goro tried to eat them,) I turned it over, then...

Niko called dibs!
(He literally jumped on it!)
This is how it became a kitty mat
in a twinkle..
Thank you, Goro & Niko.
Although the mat may not solve chronic
issue, I do enjoy lying on it.
Well, of course, when it's available :-)

Have a happy new week, everyone!
Clearly, an appointment must be made here. But really, we think the kittehs are being gracious to let you use it at all.
ReplyDeleteWe purr you get a chance to use it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a nip mat for the kitties ;)
Purrs for your back.
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
Well, it is totally getting lots of use!
ReplyDeleteYou two boys are just the best. We love to hear all about
ReplyDeleteyour antics. You sure took over that pad
You two are so sweet! My cats usually take my stuff to call their own! Have a very fun week!
ReplyDeleteAt least Goro and Niko are (sort of) willing to share, Tamago-san. Maybe it's a CAT-u-pressure mat! :)
ReplyDeleteYou boys are having a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteYou boys are having a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteYou may need to get another mat! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm late in my comments...there was a prety busy week. Oh my, chronic back pain?! I'm sure you've tried many therapies, but I do hope you get well soon
ReplyDeleteI think you need to get another mat - this one is taken!
ReplyDeleteGood thing Niko and Goro are willing to share...sometimes, MOL

Bad Niko and Goro.... if Mum's back is not better how will she fix your wonderful food ?
ReplyDeleteI thought of two mats but they would probably take that one too !
But they are so cute !
cheers, parsnip
Dearest Tamago-san; Oh My! You have a back pain; although it's not severe one, I DO hope it gets better soon and just comes from weariness of body.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to see the 'Zen-style acupressure mat'♪ I've been to the beauty parlor yesterday, the massage they give us before finishing is always so comfortable, far better than my 100-yen massage tool p:-) Tell your boys to use their paws for Mom♪ Hope the mat has effect on your back. Funny, your boys seem to have fun with it (different way :-) I always LOVE to see their sweet faces casting lovely eyes for you♡♡♡
背中の痛みは心配ですね、大したことではありませんように! 雨とお客さんでlaundryがたまってしまい、今からかいしです、ハハ。
Take Care of yourselves and Have a wonderful new week♪
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear Japanese friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
They think what yours is also mine ...
ReplyDeleteYou boys have a great life. Maybe you could share the mat with your Mom. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks more fun as a kitty mat than as a mat for back pain. Just saying. Though our human might consider something like that. Have you tried a body buddy? Amazon sells them, our human bought one. It's to hold those sore points--acupressure. You have to be careful with it, because it can REALLY hurt, doing that, and you can make things worse.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Goro and Niko are so cute ... and so generous to share that mat ! :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your back pain, hope it will be better soon ...
Enjoy your week,
Sylvia
I've seen those before, and I've always wanted to try it. Nice to hear you like it.
ReplyDeleteThey twist themselves into such strange shapes, and never seem the worse for wear!

ReplyDeleteThat mat sounds interesting! I have chronic back pain as well, from scoliosis. If it worked, I'd be interested in getting one too. At least the kitties enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThat may sounds cool. You clearly need two one for mom one for u
ReplyDeleteRetro rover
I think you need another mat (or two). heh heh. Pop had major major back surgery a week after I adopted him.
ReplyDeletesuch goofy kids. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had one of those! Maybe I can get one for mommy? She said me and her will look. xox
ReplyDeleteHow cute that your kitties love to exercise! I need one for my back.
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a story and sorry to read about your chronic back pain... This mat is being adored by your two boys and look at their big and happy eyes!
I wish I had had such a mat yesterday when both of us had to camp for 10 hours at the Atlanta airport! We came back from our trip to Mackinac Island and Toronto, flying in from Detroit but the plane to Savannah could not depart due to Gulfstream conditions. First it was delayed, more delayed and than completely cancelled. Guess what? We made it out of Atlanta by 3:45 AM on a plane that had to come from the north. Home by 7:00 AM and going to bed of course, woke up at 2:00 PM.
We did have a lovely vacation and we met with 4 blogger friends along the road. You're in the planning next...
Hugs,
Mariette
I love that cute white heart on Goro's tummy. Hope the mat helps your back - when the cats let you use it!

ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
I was reading this with mommy again. Usually she reads with ME but today, she is reading it. She hopes that you say you are helped by the mat if the boys will get off long enough to use it. *I* say they look so handsome on it, that it should be theirs and you might get another for yourself. <3 <3 <3 xxoo
ReplyDeleteLOL hope they let you use once in awhile. They look so cute with the mat. Sure miss you all. Thank you, dear friend for visiting and commenting on my blog. Warmed my heart. Hugs and nose kisses for all from me and mine. Mags
ReplyDeleteThat is one pawpular mat...everyone will have to book an appointment time for it...such sweet photos of both Goro and Niko and we hope it does help your back too!
