Gift from Japan

Look what we got! N-Chan, our friend from
Japan, kindly sent us this fantastic package!

Let's try this cat comb.

It's not a toy, Goro ~ :-)

Niko enjoyed the comb very much.

And he really loved this blanket.

Now it's Niko's favorite kneading dough :-)

I enjoyed yummy cookies!

Sorry, Goro, but cookies are mine :-)

Thank you, N-Chan, for your wonderful gifts!

A Shining Star

Hawaii is one of my favorite places.

I love the beautiful ocean...

Yummy food

Laid-back atmosphere

But the best part is LOCATION!

Hawaii is right at the halfway point between
Japan and mainland U.S.

Last year, I got to visit Hawaii twice. Met up
with my Japanese family in spring, then
my friend N-Chan from Tokyo in summer.

N-Chan and I share the love for fur kids.

While in Hawaii, we talked passionately about
our fur kids and how wonderful they are.

Earlier this week. After long happy years,
her beloved boy Vitz left this world.

My heart breaks for N-Chan and her husband.

Photo borrowed from her Instagram page

In the dark night on the island of Hawaii, we
looked up and admired the sky filled with stars.

Vitz, the new star, is now shining among them.

Sky over busy Tokyo won't show all these stars.

But I'm sure that N-Chan will find Vitz - because
he will shine the brightest for his parents.

Gift from Japan

We received this gorgeous gift package
from N-Chan, our friend in Japan!

Goro helped me unpack the box.

Sorry, Goro. This is a dessert for humans.
(He DID try to eat it and I had to stop him!)

And Look! Isn't it the cutest cushion?

Niko loooved it :-)

Thank you, N-Chan!
We all enjoyed your wonderful gift!

Goro's 8th Birthday

My boss went to Japan for a business trip
and brought this snack for me.

At home, it got full attention from Goro.

They are not real shrimps, Goro.

No, no. You won't!
But Mommy is gonna have some :-)

Yum yum.

Yum...

I felt bad for not sharing.
But there is a solution for that!

Happy snacking :-)

On May 30, Goro turns 8.
He is a furry & funny sunshine who
brightens up our home ever day

We love you, Goro. Happy birthday!!

River

One of the joys of cleaning litter box
is to find happy poops regularly.

Good to know Goro & Niko are having
a smooth bowel movement :-)

Niko always buries after using litter box.

Goro rarely covers his output.

That's fine because I can identify the producer
of poop by how it's presented in the box.

Yes, exactly!
You are such a smart boy, Goro!

Recently, Goro made a poop in the
shape of letter "川".

It's a Japanese letter. (My mother language)
"川" means "River" in Japanese!

* This is drawing. I refrained from taking photo :-)

Even your poop is smart, Goro!

We wish you a smooth bowel movement
every day.

Smooth like a river flows..... :-)

Goodies from Japan

Look what we got! N-Chan, our wonderful
friend in Japan sent this box filled with goodies!

* Matatabi = silver vine

Goro enjoyed the kicker toy.

Niko loved matatabi (silver vine) fruit.

It made him roll & roll around...

And his tail roll, too :-)

Thank you, N-Chan, for the FUN-tastic gifts!

Sorry we have not been around lately.
Busy at work during weekdays
and lazy at home during weekends.

Relaxing together

We will try to visit you soon :-)
