I was putting empty boxes in a recycle bin when I saw...
Goro, is that you?
It was Goro in a empty box in a recycle bin.
Goro, would you come out of the box?
I don't want to recycle you.
Fine, you can keep it for a while.
Oh, no, no, don't eat the box.
That's why I was throwing that box away.
Goro loves to participate in our weekend cleaning.
I think it's fun for him as we move things around.
That's totally okay, but...
Goro, would you move from there?
I don't want to vacuum you.
Poor Niko flees at the sight of vacuum cleaner,
but Goro is totally unfazed.
It seems big noise doesn't bother him.
Finally, weekend cleaning is done...fortunately
without recycling or vacuuming Goro.
Wait, maybe I need to send that box to the recycle bin.
Everyday is Box(ing) Day for Goro, eh? Someone gave a steamer to Mama but I love the box that came with it more. har har har *evil laughs*
ReplyDeleteGood thing Mom saw you. I hardly saw you hiding. Mom emptied a bunch of boxes too. I don't like the sucky monster. Goro, you're a brave boy.
ReplyDeleteKassey
It's a Cat Rule - you must not get rid of any box before the cat is done with it! Goro, you show her the rule book!
ReplyDeleteGoro, I am in awe of you. I HATE the vacuum cleanerer!
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteGuess that of all things, boxes are THE most intreaging.
Enjoy a great new week with your funny kids. Love their big eyes and expressions.
Hugs and love to you,
Mariette

I hope you get to keep the box because it is yours!
ReplyDeleteGoro, we are glad to know your Mom and Dad actually listen to you, and save your boxes! Our Mom and Dad always put them in the recycling! - Sammy and Moosey
ReplyDeleteYou kitties make very good use of those boxes, so there for, aren't those boxes being recycled by you using them?? Oh yes, you kitties are really just helping the environment! LOL!

All too often I leave boxes laying around my house for way way too long because someone prefers to sit on it :)
ReplyDeleteGoro, we are impressed that the rug sucking monster doesn't faze you. We run when we see it!!
ReplyDeleteBOX JERKY!
ReplyDeleteA new phrase is coined.

Goodness, what's your mom thinking, getting rid of all your boxes?! Good for you Goro, getting your boxes out of the recycle bin - you do what you have to do!
ReplyDeleteGoro, I think you will be a big threaten for MR. MARU !
ReplyDeletex
Goro, we're totally amazed that you're not bothered by the vacuum. Even our Nicki, who's pretty bold, steers clear of it. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhy do we bother buying toys for these kitties when a box is all they want. Goro, you are the box king. Just claim all of them. Too cute. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHAhaha! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteGoro san. I knew..I always knew how brave you are. And you proved it again today. Tell Niko san to come snuggle with mommy and me when the vacuum is running and he needn't worry at all and he'll get a hundred kisses. I will wash his face too. he'll like that.
ReplyDeleteLove you too Goro San.

Dearest Tamago-san,
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely to see things going on with your kids while the weekend cleaning♡♡♡
Especially, I am always intrigued by the
character differences of them(*^_^*)
ps> SO sorry for my belated comment. Kind of tighed up things and beaten by the heat, hehe.
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Goro and Casper both had vacuum adventures this weekend!!! I love that he was just hanging out in the recycle waiting for boxes - LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet Goro we are glad you did not get recycled. You are sure brave to be so calm while the vacuum is out and running. We can tell you are a big help on cleaning day too...good job!! hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteBoxes! We ADORE boxes too!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Your Mommy may NEVER recycle a box wifout your OKAY, Goro.
ReplyDeleteGotta tell you: One of the Kitties That Came Before Me loved the vacuum. He even like to BE vacummed all ofur his furry body with the hose!! My Human read once that Kitties who are afraid of loud noises (like ME & NIKO) are smarter than Kitties who aren't. Just sayin'.
We keep our boxes until ratty. Love your Dyson. We have the old one. Too heavy! Purrs...
ReplyDeleteDaddy recently brought home this fantastic box and we were all in it in a jiffy. And what did that party pooper Mommy do? She hid it in the cabinet! Can we come play with you in your boxes, Goro? We'll help you keep them from being sent for recycling. MOL!
ReplyDeleteGoro is an excellent kitty snoopervisor, and so brave to ignore that vacuum cleaner.
ReplyDeleteYour blog makes me smile- thanks!
Dearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteAbout the Chick-fil-A cow, we do have the little one that you have too. The one in the photos with Spicy was a BIG one, we don't have that anymore... got soiled from being a cat-toy.
No, Spicy was a very svelte cat, not when she was pregnant but she weighed around 6 lbs. I loved her so much and my feeling is she got kidnapped because of her beauty. She got spayed after her weening period, some five months after birth. She was about to start enjoying her own life, free of care for kittens and just recovered from her surgery. Meanwhile we also had my sister with partner over and we went with them to the Niagara Falls, thus on the road a lot. Our felines were left with a cat sitter. That's not the same as with their human parents. I regret this time. Had I only known this would happen soon afterwards. I was very depressed for a long time. Did advertise and God knows what for finding her. You would not believe the mean people that call you for having found her and showing just a 'stray' cat that they plucked off the road. It hurts; also for that stray... Love yours for as long as they're with you. Not all people are like you and us; unfortunately for so many felines!
Love,
Mariette
Me absolutely loves your posts! Such good times you boys has!
ReplyDeleteYour furend, TK

Hi my furiends: I gived you a little award today on my bloggy! XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteGoro, we've ridden a chair or two and love it, esp. when the human wants to move it.
ReplyDeleteLoved your expressions in all the photos!
Stasia is the only one who doesn't run from the vacuum. I'm not fond of it, but the best part of cleaning is the recycling stuff, agreed!
Tom xx
Goro, you have alot of chutzpah, you make me very proud, dear friend! Glad you got to keep that great box of yours.
ReplyDeleteHahahhaha Goro! You make cleaning fun! Glad you found another box. Don't let her recycle it! ;)
