Cleaning with Goro

I was putting empty boxes in a recycle bin when I saw...

Goro, is that you?

It was Goro in a empty box in a recycle bin.

Goro, would you come out of the box?
I don't want to recycle you.

Fine, you can keep it for a while.

Oh, no, no, don't eat the box.
That's why I was throwing that box away.

Goro loves to participate in our weekend cleaning.
I think it's fun for him as we move things around.

That's totally okay, but...

Goro, would you move from there?
I don't want to vacuum you.

Poor Niko flees at the sight of vacuum cleaner,
but Goro is totally unfazed.

It seems big noise doesn't bother him.

Finally, weekend cleaning is done...fortunately
without recycling or vacuuming Goro.

Wait, maybe I need to send that box to the recycle bin.

  15. Goro, we're totally amazed that you're not bothered by the vacuum. Even our Nicki, who's pretty bold, steers clear of it. :-)

  16. Why do we bother buying toys for these kitties when a box is all they want. Goro, you are the box king. Just claim all of them. Too cute. Take care.

  21. Ha ha ha! Your Mommy may NEVER recycle a box wifout your OKAY, Goro.

Gotta tell you: One of the Kitties That Came Before Me loved the vacuum. He even like to BE vacummed all ofur his furry body with the hose!! My Human read once that Kitties who are afraid of loud noises (like ME & NIKO) are smarter than Kitties who aren't. Just sayin'.

  25. Dearest Tamago,

About the Chick-fil-A cow, we do have the little one that you have too. The one in the photos with Spicy was a BIG one, we don't have that anymore... got soiled from being a cat-toy.
No, Spicy was a very svelte cat, not when she was pregnant but she weighed around 6 lbs. I loved her so much and my feeling is she got kidnapped because of her beauty. She got spayed after her weening period, some five months after birth. She was about to start enjoying her own life, free of care for kittens and just recovered from her surgery. Meanwhile we also had my sister with partner over and we went with them to the Niagara Falls, thus on the road a lot. Our felines were left with a cat sitter. That's not the same as with their human parents. I regret this time. Had I only known this would happen soon afterwards. I was very depressed for a long time. Did advertise and God knows what for finding her. You would not believe the mean people that call you for having found her and showing just a 'stray' cat that they plucked off the road. It hurts; also for that stray... Love yours for as long as they're with you. Not all people are like you and us; unfortunately for so many felines!
    Love,
    Mariette

  29. Goro, we've ridden a chair or two and love it, esp. when the human wants to move it.

Loved your expressions in all the photos!

Stasia is the only one who doesn't run from the vacuum. I'm not fond of it, but the best part of cleaning is the recycling stuff, agreed!
