Christmas Lights

We used to have this Christmas tree.

But then, it got destroyed.

Don't worry, it wasn't plugged in and nobody

was hurt. We learned to cat-proof cords.

Presumption is based on his everyday doing

With no tree lights since then,

we had dark Christmas every year.

Well, I exaggerated a little bit.

Of course there were some lights.

But this year is different. My family-in-law

got this super cute tree as a present for us.

We put it on the top of entertainment center,

where Goro can't reach.

Then his Dad added lights around this

entertainment center behind shoji screen.

We call it

Goro-proofed Christmas tower :-)

We love how adventurous and curious Goro

is. We just want him and Niko to be safe.

Goro & Niko are bright lights in my life :-)

After Work

After a long day at work...

Goro! I missed you. Come here!

He always runs past me.

And gets all kind of excited.

While I prepare dinner, Goro takes his
ready-set-eat position.
Always makes me chuckle :-)

Happy Hour (nightly snack time) is

Niko's favorite time of the day.

OK, Niko. Let's go.

While I prepare snack, Niko sings

with his sweet, chocolate-covered voice.

Always makes me squee :-)

Every day is a happy day with Goro & Niko.

All the work stress goes away once I'm home.

Open Top, Open Side

Goro & Niko love playing food game.

They gather around puzzle box when

it's about time for the game.

Especially Niko, who is usually reserved,
gets very energetic.

Fishing out of glass? Piece of cake!

Any shape of glass.

Goro often gets left behind...

One day...

Instead of standing the glass as usual, I lied it

down. No particular reason, just for a change.

To my surprise...

Niko, go from the side.

Then came Goro!

It was interesting to learn their

strong and weak sides.

And sorry for Niko, but

I found his sour face very cute :-)

Don't worry. I make sure Niko

gets snack, too!

Food game is played under supervision and

kids always get the same amount of snack :-)

Toy Fish

While back (way back,) I saw this fish at
Stunning Keisha's fun post here. I was
fascinated and got one for Goro & Niko.

Come on, kids.
Mom got a fish for you.

Goro, don't fall.

(Though, it might make funny video if he does...)

Nothing, nothing.
(That was an evil thought!)

I love this fish. Entertaining for kids! Much
more fun than the dancing fish I got earlier.

Trick or Treat

Hello, everyone! Did you have fun Halloween?

We didn't do anything special, but I wanted

to take some Halloween pictures with kids.

That is Halloween cat, Goro.

OK, OK.

Photo shoot failed.

Instead, we had Trim-and-Treat.

There is always treat after nails are done :-)

Goro & Niko played Trick-or-Tussle.
