One morning, Goro and I were
hanging out on the deck.
After a while, Goro started gazing at something.
Ah, there is a little bird on the rooftop.
Haha, bird is too far away, Goro :-)
Hm... There are birds on the feeder right here
and yet, Goro is totally ignoring them.
A bit strange.
Then Niko joined the watch.
What is so special about that bird?
Wait, that is not a little bird...
That's vulture!
That's why.
We don't usually see vulture,
at least not on regular bird TV.
Probably, but let's not!

Special thanks to Target, Guido & Ellen from
Katz And Other Tales for posting our enclosure
on their Facebook page, and Merlin, Domino,
Gris Gris, Odin & Layla from Cat Wisdom 101
for featuring it on their Catios article!
WOW! I wonder what those vultures were doing in your neighborhood! No wonder you kitties were so fascinated.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly! Now that's a birdie that probably should not be messed with! :)
ReplyDeleteYIKES! They usually eat carrion, right? Where's the body?
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteAren't you glad you got this catio? One never knows...
Loved the two mentions of your lovely catio from Canada. Indeed, good things do come from Canada.
Hugs to you,

We hope you get to catch a bird. Baggy and Nin - Lee and Phod's cats who don't have an enclosure.
ReplyDeleteNo No do not mess with a vulture. They are way too big. Love the big eyes. But do leave that one alone. Glad you are on your catio. Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteGoro, Niko, we like your style! why go for the little birds at (closer) feeder when you can have a HUGE vulture? :D just don't let him get you first!
ReplyDeleteCool pictures!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, HOllie
OMC Goro and Niko, be careful furriends! Mom says those birdies could eat kitties like you for breakfast and still want lunch.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder your eyes got so biggified Goro, MOL
Oh my goodness boys! Don't mess with the vulture! Whoa, we can't believe it showed up, no wonder you weren't interested in the other "little birds" at the feeder! Have a wonderful week boys and thanks so much for celebrating my Birthday with me!
ReplyDeleteOMC! What, have you goned CRAZY boys??? A VULTURE ::shudder:: No no no no no no! Refocus on those nice little snacks, I mean birdies, right outside your enclosure. Maybe one will squeeze through the mesh to say hello, heh heh.
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago-san,
ReplyDeleteWow, a vulture up on your house!!! Well, it sure is an exciting guest or should I say 'no no' guest p;) So funny you showed us your babies had no interests for the regular guests(*^_^*)
Congratulations on your catio being featured(^_-)
Sending you lots of love and hugs to my dear Japanese friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
OH MY GOODNESS Niko san and Goro san...that is a BIG big birdie. Please don't even think about it. He may eat YOU!! MOL. xxooxx
ReplyDeleteYour enclosure is a dream! And about the vulture, guys, I suggest you...do not try!
ReplyDeleteGoro and Niko, that vulture is very big! We are glad you have a catio, so that you can watch him from where it is safe!
ReplyDeleteHe is a bit large so I would be happy to stay in the catio if I was there. Just meowin...
ReplyDeleteHoly cow that vulture us huge!!!! That was very cool Bird TV!!!
ReplyDeleteCareful there, kitties. That burd is bigger and uglier than he looks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a big bird !
ReplyDeleteYet Goro is sure he could take him ... oh my, be careful !
Nice week,
Sylvia
Oh my stars! That is one big scary bird! I am so glad the kitties are safe behind the enclosure. I think they better stick to the little birds at the feeder. LOL!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
wow... you guys went outside? shorta outside? i always stay inside... i'm scared...
ReplyDeleteHi Boys, So has that vulture gone away now? I sure hope so! The Human and her friend saw a big old hawk out on their walk the other day but he scared it away before the Human could get a picture. She was pretty mad.
ReplyDeleteThose vultures are much bigger than the birdies we get in our garden.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Whoa! You got the Premium Bird tv channel with the big birds. TW's nickname used to be Vulture. Should I be scared?
ReplyDeletewow amazing vulture, I haven't seen one either, they are such spectacular birds.
ReplyDeleteWow that is one big bird. You two had better not mess with that one. You just might be sorry. Hope all of you have a good evening.
ReplyDeleteYou must subscribe to premium channels of BIRD TV to get shows with vultures. We think the reason the vulture usually stays away is that he knows Goro could take him.
ReplyDeleteHi Boys! Whatcha up to these days, huh? Still bird-watchin'?
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, those vulture things only like to eat dead stuff!
ReplyDeletei don't know... let's not risk it tho..lol
