Goro loves to play around water.
Shower room is his playground.
Shower room is his playground.
He sticks his head under running water...
And plays with the water that drips from his head.
(Isn't he creative?)
Niko, on the other hand, prefers dry land.
Water is okay to drink, but I hate it getting anywhere but in my mouth! I have been known to sit my tail down in my litter sometimes, however.
ReplyDeleteGoro, maybe you can come and play with Moosey. He likes playing in the water, too!
ReplyDeleteHi to Niko, too. :)
I'm with you Niko, I prefer the dry...even my tail!
ReplyDeleteOh my boys you two are so cute and different from each other for sure! We like that Goro tries to catch the drips from his head but both Neytiri and I are like Niko, we like our coats dry. Have a wonderful week boys!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww gorgeous Niko!! Your wonderful tail has a mind of its own!!
ReplyDeleteSweet Goro!! Enjoy your water!!! What fun!! Take care
x
Hahaha! We should set up a playdate between Goro and Tutu. We bet they'll have a splashing good time!
ReplyDeleteThe rest of us, well, we are *normal* like you, Niko. MOL!
Here, Benta is my aquatic cat! She loves water, water drops, anything with water. Usually she uses our bathroom as her playground too.
ReplyDeleteDid you see that video that was doing the rounds about the kitten who loves "o-furo"? Maybe Goro-Chan is like that too?
ReplyDeletePurrs (Goro-Goro...),
The Chans
Sweet Pea and Scouty are off to play at Camp Goro! They love water sports.

ReplyDeleteThat's funny! Most cats do not like water. But I think each of them is so different from the other!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Oh my ~ that is funny Goro liking water. Sometimes kitty's tail just has a mind of it's own. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week kitties!
xo Catherine
Goro, you're one brave kitty. I don't like water on me. Niko, you have the right idea....mol
ReplyDeleteWe have you on faves so we can visit after we get a new blog.
xoxo Kassey
HAH! I don't drink water but sometimes I like to play water sports and get wet.
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteHow different they are indeed! So far we've had only one water crazy cat. Spooky II, the one we lost of heart worm. He would BEG me to turn the faucet on in the laundry room, where he helped me ironing and folding laundry. Then he let it also run over his head, after lapping it up with his tongue. I'd taught him how to do this; that was so much fun. It gave me joy to see him enjoy this so much forever after that lesson.
He also was the one that wanted to get with me into the shower as often as he could. He stood upright against the shower door in the Rose Suite and begged to be let inside. A few times I did and Pieter would receive him with a dry towel on the other side.
Our fur babies are so much fun.
Love your photos again. Those boys are super smart one can tell. They try out every possible little detail of life...
Hugs,
Mariette
MOL! You two boys are furry funny!!
ReplyDeleteOur sisfur Shady (she wents to the Bridge 3 years ago) loved to drop her toys in the water and then play with them. Drove mom crazy(er) MOL
Sasha, Sami, & Saku
Goro really likes playing with water, what fun !
ReplyDeleteLove the picture where Niko is hiding ... oh, they're both so cute !
Happy week,
Sylvia
Dearest Tamago-san,
ReplyDeleteHow lovely♡♡♡ We could see your boys obvious difference of characters, don't we♬♬♬ Is the two gadgets water supplier (one white and the other with purplish tray) for your babies? Haha, I wondered what they are. If so, they can have clean water wnenever they want(^_^)v
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
LOL, Niko is in for a surprise :-) My boys are like Goro they love the water, especially Casper!!!
ReplyDeletehappy swimming!
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you got this reply to your comment but I want you to have it.

Dearest Tamago,
Sure, you stay true to your culture and get all its health benefits. Looking up the working for cleaning, it does not actually sanitize the cutting board when using used green tea leaves. However it does deodorize a cutting board and other things like litter boxes. You can read about that at the very bottom here: http://www.moondragon.org/health/nutritionbasics/antioxidants/greentea.html
Hugs to you,
Mariette

Tamago has left a new comment on your post "{TEA = Superb Fat Fighter}":
I drink green tea after lunch at work. Feels like the tea cleanses my body, really! If I remember correctly, antioxidant Catechin works great for cleaning cutting board. You rub used green tea leaves on the cutting board and rinse it. I think it is good way to recycle used tea leaves :-)
I have kind of a love-hate thing with water.
ReplyDeleteKind of like my brofur. But it's a little light on the love part. heh, heh
; ) Katie
Very interesting~~
ReplyDeleteLego loves water as well, but not me~!!!
So, I can totally understand Niko's thoughts~
OMC Niko! Don't you just HATE it when you accidentally run your tail thru something wet??? It takes FOREVER to lick it dry!
ReplyDeleteUh Oh, watch out Niko, you are about to have a wet tail. Bet you moved it in a hurry. Most of us like to remain dry. Hope all of you have a super day.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your kitties are gorgeous but I'm sure you already knew that! :)
ReplyDeleteOur kitty scooter loves the shower
ReplyDeleteUrban hounds
Dearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteJust like to share my reply with you here and we have to still drink that bottle of Japanese Umeshu together!
==============================
Dearest Tamago,
Thanks for loving my placemats. When we lived and worked in Indonesia, the Japanese Sogo Department in Jakarta did carry them as well, always loved things woven from Nito. You are not that far away, so why not join us at table one day?
Hugs,
Mariette
================================
Oh I love your place mats! They have tropical look and cheer the table! And no need for ironing...perfect for summer :-) And I adore your table setting! Beautiful fresh flowers and your dish looks yummy and pretty!
That's a good place to keep your water filter but be careful you tail is in the wet and we're worried it could shrink. We try not to do anything involved with water - shudder!!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
The Human always wonders if I would like one of those drinking fountains. But I am such a 'fraidy cat she thinks it will scare me and she'll have dumped $60 down the drain on something I will never use. Do you kids think it is skeery???
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely magical felines :)....None of my cats dare to touch the water :). Adore your babies.
ReplyDeleteGoro, you so silly!
ReplyDeleteI love how different they are and love them both!
ReplyDeleteYou're cute with your cats story. Thank you Tamago, and thank you for your kind words. Mei
ReplyDeleteDearest Tamago,
ReplyDeleteGuess you one day have to leave me your email address...

I had no idea Sogo carries these placemats! Must be popular among Japanese, too :-) It will be really lovely if we can get together one day!

The sad thing is that Sogo no longer is in Jakarta, so many of its stores closed. I LOVED it; also for the food they sold. By the way, after his on-going wet monsoon, in the fall we have to kill that bottle of Umeshu.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
