Food Game

I think food hunting game is a good way
to stimulate kitties' natural instinct and curiosity.
It's both fun and rewarding.

Here, I put a piece of freeze-dried meat in a glass.

Niko fishes it out of the glass...

Now, game with Goro. 

I put this meat...

Goro, calm down.

Go, Goro. You can do it.

So the other day...

Niko fishes the snack.

Out of glass.

After this unfortunate event, 

Niko had to rethink his fishing method.

So Niko began to fish the snack.

And eat it without dropping out of glass.

Sorry, Goro. No more mooching.

Well, later Goro mastered fishing, too.

Even though he is not as skilled as Niko :-)

Food game is fun! Just gotta be careful

not to play too much = eat too much!

I always enjoy his company.

He is around when I'm doing dishes...

(And he attacks toilet paper.)

When cooking Goro & Niko's chicken for snack...

Of course, when it comes to chicken,

Niko shows up.

It's nice to be together :-)

Niko's 4th Anniversary

Niko loves making biscuits.

He also "suckle" blanket while kneading it.

I've read this is a comfort behavior that

he remembers from when he was a baby.

His happy purring and dreamy face

always sweeten my heart :-)

  

We'll celebrate Niko's 4th Gotcha Day on February 28.

Winter Storm

Last weekend, we had warm weather.

I thought spring was just around the corner...

Goro almost caught this bird

Then winter storm hit our area on Tuesday.

Adventurous Goro played in the snow.

Niko stayed inside, being warm and fluffy.

By Thursday morning, winter storm has left.

Snow began to melt quickly.

I don't know, Goro. But let's hope so.

This weekend, we enjoyed warm weather.

Hopefully winter is not coming back this time!

We hope everyone stays comfy and safe!

We got this Ham-Mick by Forty Paws

through auction for Tweedles.

Isn't it pretty?

Goro. You are supposed to be on it.

Later, I found Niko using Ham-Mick properly.

Niko enjoys new comfy napping spot.

I enjoy seeing him being happy fur ball on it.
